pushing button results in two button presses
« on: August 12, 2015, 07:40:55 AM »
Hi all,
I tried searching but couldn't find any results for my issue. I wired up my SLI-PRO to use as a basic display with 11 buttons, 9 on the front and two for the paddle shifters. My problem is that once I was finished and tested the device, some of my buttons were pressing two different buttons at the same time. The down push of the button would press button 5, and when released it would push button six. Its limited to the shifter paddles and one of the buttons on the front of the wheel plate. I have a common ground on the left side from connector one to the buttons on the left side of the wheel plate including the shifter paddle and a common ground from connector two on the right side including the shifter paddle. Is it somehow reading these buttons as encoders? Have I neglected to do something in the device setup?

I should note that I haven't connected any of the rotary switches and I have disabled the qsd function in the settings.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi, sorry but this is not related to SLIMax Manager or software support, you should contact your hardware supplier. However, I can try to reply to your question, check if you have only ONE ground for all buttons and open the Encoder tool for SLIPRO and check if an encoder is set at this position.
Hope this helps but as I said check with your hardware supplier, this forum is focused on EKSIMRacing software support.
Cheers,
z
