VDASH-EMU For SIM Race LCD Tips



- 2 licenses are needed with your SIM Race LCD from SIM Display.
One for the device and one for the VDASH-EMU. The license are AUTOMATICALLY fetched from our server if SIM Display includes them (if they are not included you have to register them first following the standard registration process ) and so you don't have to worry about. Just click YES when SLIMax Mgr Pro prompts you to do so. Watch the video here:

- Use Windows Screen Resolution wizard to place the LCD monitor on the top to not have to deal with taskbar



- first time you launch the VDASH-EMU, drag the window onto the SIM Race LCD display and open the General Settings and hit the Full Screen checkbox



- ALT + ENTER key to toggle Windowed/Fullscreen mode
 
- even in fullscreen mode you can drag back the VDASH-EMU window to your desktop area to edit or create your custom display page, 44 slots are available for your customization in addition of the 4 displays included.

- using only ONE setup for the RPM Leds, Warning/Marshal leds and LCD display is possible. Go to General Settings of SLIMax Manager Pro and set the corresponding option to true. As soon as this option is TRUE the SIM Race LCD will use the current vdash-emu setup. Set the option to false to be able to setup the LCD display and the leds independently.

With latest version of SLIMax Manager Pro and latest version of SIM Race LCD setups you can change the Brightness, Contrast and Saturation from your steering wheel by assigning buttons to TFT MENU, TFT MINUS and TFT PLUS function.

As soon as your car is on track, push the corresponding TFT MENU button to select Brightness or Contrast or Saturation  and the TFT Plus or Minus to increase or decrease value

Connecting the monitor of the SIM Race LCD to another computer/tablet/laptop:

The SIM Race LCD integrated monitor should be connected to the computer which the SIM Race LCD usb is connected as well normally and the licenses for the device usb AND for the VDASH-EMU For LCD are obviously INCLUDED.

BUT in some case we need to plug the monitor cable of the SIM Race LCD on another computer running VDASH-EMU For Windows this time and NOT VDASH-EMU For LCD. This is possible but obviously, this configuration needs a new license for the VDASH-EMU for Windows running on this second computer (this PC/Tablet is connected to the LAN with wifi or ethernet).
