Zappadoc and the support staff have recommended for years using the powered D-LINK HUB 7 (DUB-H7 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub from D-Link) to connect your USB devices to your sim rig, unfortunately since the last version of windows 10 this usb hub generates micro-disconnections which crashes any application using directinput8create function (directx initialization function to get information about USB device and more), this includes many games and SLIMax Manager Pro which crashes the first time you run it.
This has been tested on revision C1 and D1 of the usb hub, the latest revision F1 needs to be tested...
The solution is simple DO NOT USE the D-LINK USB Hub 7 or try a different USB hub or connect your devices directly to your PC.
REMINDER: All motherboards have at least 4 internal USB 2.0 ports available using a single cable, see image below.
The D-LINK H7 USB 2.0 hub works fine with Windows 7
