Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry. The default assignment of the SLI-PRO are the 2 rotary switch 12 positions S1 and S2 and not rotary encoders,
To cycle through all info back and forth on left panel of SLI-PRO you have to assign both btn_up_left_display AND btn_down_left_display (2 buttons or 1 encoder) and obviously it's the same for right panel of SLI-PRO both btn_up_right_display AND btn_down_right_display must be assigned.
But it's okay to assign only the UP left and UP right display functions to loop forward through all info. The buttons must be a simple PUSH-PULL which are ON when down and OFF when up.
Your issue is not related to SLIMax Mgr Pro but to the firmware behavior of your hardware buttonbox or something that changes the state of the button when it's down. SLIMax Mgr Pro changes the info on the panel if your button continuously send ON/OFF when it's pressed.
To check the state of your buttons with SLIMax Mgr Pro do the following:
Launch SLIMax Mgr Pro
1) open a simulation or game
2) select menu "Toggle Device Info" in SLIMax Mgr Pro
3) go on track
<=============== you must be on track3) push your button and check the Debug Console notification
4) select the menu again to toggle off
In the debug console window the sate of the button pressed must STAY DOWN until you release the button which then go UP.

Hope this helps
