Cant get it working :( solved

hi!!  i used the old version of this software and it worked fine but the new version doenst... I was away from sim racing for a long time.. I did update my sli max software but nothing work.. I mean, i play iracing, assetto corsa and the software doenst detect the game when its started.. PLugin are activated and all..

I use windows 7 64 bits but the software say its 32bit.. I saw some picture of SLimax and its in 64bits... COuld it be the problem??

I also tried Dirt Rally.. Sli max detect it when i start the game but light not working.. I tried my SLI-M with an old software i had and everything fine

So iM lost SLi max just say @Waiting Sim-racing app@

Hi, and SURE! this is the issue, as written in the FAQ you cannot mix 32Bit SLIMax Mgr Pro app with 64Bit Windows.

So I strongly suggest to do a clean install of SLIMax Manager Pro using the installer on website, run it as admin to prevent any permission issue and everything will be ok.

Well, i already tried your suggestion yesterday,,Uninstall, reinstall, uninstall reisntall.. I did download the installer you mentionned.. I dont understand what's the problem

I mean, i didnt see a separate isntaller for 32 and one for 64 bits ...

any suggestion?

this is simple as install the SLIMax Manager Pro and that's it!

All issue is always related to:
Windows Permissions (UAC must unset or install and run SLIMax Mgr Pro as ADMINISTRATOR)
Network Permissions (antivirus/firewall must allow SLIMax Mgr Pro to run and connect to the net to get license and updates)

your license as I said is valid and online so SLIMax Manager Pro should find it at startup and install it automatically as written in faq and in video tuto

Install As administrator or not?

did you have the license key in c:\SLIMax Manager\licenses\ directory

if yes do you have the device name on setup menu?

did you select the test device menu to test your device?

when you change the Basic or Advanced setting is it permanent or need to set each time you run the software?

why did you run the SLIMax Mgr 32bit as you have a 64Bit windows!!?.??

in Registration Information panel, do you have the device recognized and with a (+) which means the license is recgnized and installed correctly

etc.

I discovered the problem after reading this

... i was using the shortcut i had on my windows desk..It was probably the old one (i was thinking it was a new shortcut created by the new installation ) and was pointing on slimaxmgr.exe instead of slimaxmgr64.exe


now everthing work
