Hi,

Using SLIMax Manager Pro for F1 2017 on PS4. Loved it, great software for a great price. Question now is, is it still possible to run the VDash-Emu on my Android with SLIMax Manager Pro on my laptop for F1 2018 PS4, as there is no bridge available for the PS4 like there was for the 2017 edition?

If anyone can help that would be great, much appreciated.

Hello,

(the following has been tested successfully)

Configure the game UDP settings on PS4 like for F1 2017 Bridge but with packet format to LEGACY

check your PS4 settings:

set UDP Telemetry to ON
set the rate to 60Hz,
do NOT activate Broadcast.
IP of your PC (192.168.x.x), <<<<<<<<<<<< IP address of your laptop running SLIMax
format: LEGACY <<<<<<<<<<< LEGACY is marked "OLD" on Console Game

laptop running:
SLIMax Mgr Pro (with VDASH-EMU license valid)
F1 2017 Bridge app

Android running:
VDASH-EMU

PS4 running game.
you must be on track to get telemetry

double check your settings

Hi,

tried what you suggested, but still no joy. SLIMax sits on "Waiting for Sim app", after Emu, SLI and the fake F1_2018.exe are double clicked. Run game, but still the Emu is blank. All IP settings are correct.

did you read my last and updated reply?
You right the fake app is not working due to the default localhost target IP address but read again my updated answer, this has been tested successfully with F1 2017 bridge app and Codies F1 2018 game.

Sorry, I didn't see your edited reply, until I had replied.

So, tried your edited working method.

Still can't get it to work, SLIMax Manager scrolls the following, that is with Vdash EMU open, SLIMax running, F1_2017ConsoleBridge.exe running.

" SLIMax Manager Pro V3.4.6.6a > Manager init.... > F1 Codemasters : Startup > F1 Codemasters : Close > Manager unloaded > SLIMax Manager Pro V3.4.6.6a.

Checked plugins and the below are active.

F1 2017 plug in active
F1 2017 Console Bridge plug in active
F1 2018 plug in active

Hello,

Double check your UDP settings (LEGACY mode must be set) and your firewall rules your laptop must accept the UDP network stream from the PS4. Your issue seems to be more related to UDP communication if your UDP settings are correct.

Legacy format?

In the F1 2019 PS4, there are only these options for UDP format, "2019 format", "2018 format" and "old"

"OLD" is LEGACY UDP Format

try with this mode and use the SLIMax F1 2017 Bridge App.

KERSMAXLEVEL.

How can I show the ERS information in the VDASH_EMU?

Hello, F1 2019 Plugins is using Codemasters API v7 but F1 2017 Console Bridge is using Codemasters API v5.

When will console bridge update with API v7?

Windows 2004 is not supported until the final version will be fixed:

F1 2020 is in early access and will released the 10 July...

so you're on your own (a test on console is planned and will be done later after the official release). I suggest to check if the udp IP is correct and if the F1 2017 bridge plugin is activated.

Got the problem just offthe (Y) PC restart has helped why anyway. Vllt was still occupied by a previous start of the port (Y). Runs under 2004 without problems

I only use VDash so far, it works. However, I would have a request.

Is it possible to easily adjust the console bridge again? It would be absolutely awesome if you could switch a proxy UDP forwarding to use RC-Dash on the PC, for example. Then I could run the track analysis in the background in parallel.

Alternatively, I have the SIM-RACING-PROXY server in operation, but this extreme is delayed. As a result, the VDash is no longer running in sync, so please do mine.

In other words, add console bridge port forwarding or UDP forwarding.

Then VDash and Co remain in sync on the PC, and the track analysis can intercept traffic asynchronously via port forwarding.

The SRPS is your friend

and you should have zero delay. Your issue is elsewhere.

The latest version is already included with SLIMax Mgr Pro (also, you may need to not running the SRPS app as admin on windows 10 don't ask why!

)
