Drift Style Dash Template
« on: February 03, 2016, 09:16:14 AM »
Preview:

Ok this is my first attempt to create a dash template so bare with me please lol, its a drift style type dash.
I might update it in the future with more gauges ...

Installing:
  • Unpack the Drift_Style_Dash.rar
  • Go into the newly created folder (called Drift_Style_Dash)
  • The folder  (called vdash_template) can be dragged and dropped into :C\Users\[Your_Username_Here]\
Hope you like it!

Pretty neat for your first template, congrats!

The Arrow Gauge objects seems to need a calibration, here is the settings used during my test. Optionally, you can use External led #7 for the Rev Spot object (rev limit function in default setup, see SLIMax Mgr Pro setup).

Thanks for this great template.

EDIT: Rev Limit function isn't suitable for Assetto Corsa, keep Marshal led #1 if you use this sim. ;)

Thhnx i always could create the gauges but was never able to add them in other similar aplications lol,  this is the first "HUD" aplication i am able to make my own custom setup that actually seemed to work and i found it was very easy to add your own images to it great job on that!!

PS: Thnx for the fixes, i only noticed there was something wrong when i had already posted it, but i was not sure about how the steps worked exactly. I play rFactor 1 and your settings  work perfect only the steps for the RPM gauge i need to set to 2.0 to be the same as in game for me .....

thanks for the cool feedback (always appreciated ;) ) and yep, the RPM STEP value may vary from 1.15 to 1.5 here but beware I'm talking about the real rpm value from the API and not the dial on the screen which are sometime not related to the real value.
TIP: The simplest way is to create a DATA RPM object (DATA menu) and check the rpm value received by the vdash-emu app during the calibration and then delete it. ;)
Cheers,
z
