Mapping the VDASH-EMU ButtonBox Leds
« on: March 30, 2016, 10:40:07 AM »
Hi, some guys asked me how to map the Led of the buttonbox, so here is a quick guide with some screenshots.

First you have to know the type and index of the led, this is here in getting started section the sticky VDASH-EMU ButtonBox (buttons, led and switches index list)

The buttonbox included with VDASH-EMU have external leds index from 7 to 10 (9 is yellow and the others are red)

than if you read before the FAQ and video tutorials related you learned how to edit setup and assign function warning to a led using the Advanced Options panel of SLIMax Mgr Pro
So, you just have to choose the function and click the corresponding index.

For example:

- assign Power ON function to led 9, I type "power" + ENTER key in search field and double-click the LED_POWER function
- and assign it to led 9
- same thing for Traction Control to led 8 and ABS (Antilock_brakes) to led 10
- also, it could useful to be warning about low fuel on led 7, type lowfuel in search field and double-click the led_lowfuel function to assign the led 7

AND DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK THE APPLY button to confirm your change and obviously at end to SAVE your setup!! :)

that's it!
Cheers,
z
