Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry. Your problem is not related to our software and unfortunately your short description is not enough specific to be able to help you, this ticket is now closed.
This could be an hardware issue (usb hub/cable/port for example) or something related to your windows configuration or a conflict with a third party software running in background or an overloaded CPU/GPU issue which eats 100% CPU or a new driver installed (like Fanatec or video driver) or a corrupted installation of SLIMax Mgr or ..?
We suggest to make a clean installation of our software (check the FAQ related) and always cap the fps of your games and try to get the issue with a minimum hardware installed and a minimum software running. Formatting the PC is rarely the solution we suggest to not doing this. We're always willing to help so feel free to create a new ticket as soon as you can isolate the problem and find it related to our software and be much more specific.

Description(be specific when you ask software support):
Hello, I posted yesterday about a LAG problem from my SIM RACE DELUX. It really wasn't very clear, I'm pretty sure it was after I played the ACC or Motorist because.

I use the Assetto corsa Content Manager mod and CUSTOM SHADERS PATCH.

I've done some precedents since yesterday and today too.

1. I've done a super clean install.

2. Reinstalled as administrator.

3. I reinstalled my motherboard chipset driver (TUF Z390-PRO GAMING).

4. I plugged straight into the USB on my motherboard, turned off my HUB (TP-Link).

5. I left my video card without V-SYNC (RX 5700X).

6. Tried: "Disable Native Support of Fanatec Hardware in Assetto Corsa" from FAQ.

7. Tried this link: https://www.eksimracing.org/forum/index.php?topic=4725.0

Hello,

thanks for your inquiry but there is still no evidence that this comes from our software. We do not do any hardware support ask your hardware supplier if you have an hardware issue. A LED LAG could be an hardware issue with your SIM Race Deluxe.

You said with all games but I doesn't see any report about other game than AC?

Quit all apps,
run SLIMax Mgr
and use the "Test All Devices..." menu,

do you still have a lag in your LED?

and what do you mean by LED LAG?

did you try with just SLIMax + AC (no modded) + SIM Race DLX (before running any soft on your PC power off your Fanatec to eliminate any conflict with Fanatec driver)?

go on track and type CTRL+C to activate the autopilot in AC Quick Race mode

did you try with other game ? and what game?
your configuration is?
your devices connected are?
SIM Race DLX connect to USB 3 or USB 2? it's always better to connect your display device to USB 2.0 port

Sorry but your issue is still unclear for us and definitely not related to our software. give us some more details and we will try to help...

So I tested on other games but AC is easier to describe.

The delay is related to the gears, when I reach the limit of shifting the lights they come later, if I accelerate to maximum the LEDs light up with a delay. I will try to record and place the video on Google Driver and increase the sound and some items on the screen to help.

Follows video to review.  Already I also changed the RPM settings thinking that I misconfigure but unfortunately could not, so I am trying to make contact with you.  thanks.  Attempting to pause the video in a few moments will fix the delay.

Responding to your previous post.  I recently upgraded (Motherboard-TUF Z390-PRO GAMING) (CPU-INTEL I7 9700X) (CORSAIR-32GB DDR4) (ASUS RX 5700X ADM VIDEO).  This is my current configuration, but before in my old configuration it also happened and I decided to format the machine.

After I made this upgrade I had already played and it was OK, but only play more AC and then this week I'm on vacation I played two other games (Assetto Corsa Competizione and Automobilista).  So on 13/11/2019 had update of Windows 10 1909 which may also have changed but can not solve, I tried to configure the light setting but without success.

My steering wheel is the Logitech G27.

I apologize but I really don't know what it is, I even have an advanced computer background but I didn't identify anything, I closed several applications that could be up to Corsair Link and Corsair iCUE closed as a precaution but without success.

Hello,

All those things are related to your hardware and we do not do hardware support, sorry. I can only suggest you to check your usb port to be sure it's an USB 2.0 and not 3.0 and to check your sim race DLX on a laptop or other PC by installing SLIMax Mgr only and select "Test All Devices..." menu to check your display device.

As mentioned in previous post, you can also do a minimal test on your sim rig by doing the following:
- all other apps and devices must be shutdown (including the logitech g27)
- launch SLIMax Mgr + AC only
- go on track in Quick Race mode
- type CTRL+C to activate the AUTOPILOT
and watch the behavior of your SIM Race DLX

Hello, my motherboard only has USB 3.1 :-( but on the other board the same thing happened earlier and I also changed the USB ports to 2.0.

In tests it works normal, all LED's work well, including in Notebook, only my Notebook does not run games.

In the race with PILOT AUTOMATIC gave the same thing as before. :-(

I'm almost giving up and formatting, I've tried a few things and nothing. Already unseated the drivers (software) and nothing.

To think here, I will do the following, I will format Windows 10 I will reinstall everything and make sure everything is OK.

Then I will open the same games in the order I played and then turn off and on my computer and test, simulate how I had it in normal use, and see if it still works normal, if it keeps working normal, the Windows 10 update probably messed up some driver stuff. .

It's good that I help with something in development. Not that it's a software problem but something may be incompatible with the Windows 10 version 1903.: D

Hello,

Latest Windows 10 works with SLIMax Manager, it's useless to format your HD and your issue is certainly related to your USB 3.1, take a hub USB 2.0 like this one the DLINK USB HUB 7 and everything should be okay.

https://www.amazon.com/D-Link-including-Charging-Adapter-DUB-H7/dp/B0000B0DL7/

or plug the USB 2.0 extension onto your motherboard (you have 4 x USB 2.0 available)

I did it! It was the same Windows 10, the November update must have caused it, I went back to the previous version of Windows 10 before the problem. I am not saying that this is a problem with the software, it may be a future problem of incompatibility with some new features of Windows 10.

Now it's perfect, I don't know if it can be just an isolated case or just me but it is a tip to analyze, it can happen to more people. It happened on my other motherboard and another different setup.

Now I'm in
Windows 10 1909 Build 18363.449 is working.

Before was Windows 10 1903 Build 19013.

* If you want I can up his video working perfectly, just leave the post open.

Anyway, thank you very much for your attention and patience. Thanks.  :D

Hello, read my previous and updated post, latest windows 10 works but the chipset driver for USB not...this is your issue, plug an USB 2.0 header bracket or use a USB HUB 2.0 and everything should be okay.

Thanks again for your updated input, I keep this ticket open in case you want to test the latest Windows 10 with a true USB 2.0 port.

Okay, I will take the test. I had at home one of these.

Only problem will be the HUD which is 3.0 can only be the HUB so the normal USB of the computer does not have enough power, I still use an extender, I will try to test without the extender with this card.

Hello, how are you? I hope so and a happy new year.

My friend, I still couldn't solve that problem with my RACE DELUX SIM LED.
Only works on version below Build 19xxx.

When Windows upgrades to version I am now on the Insider Preview in Fast Ring 19536 it gives this problem.

I came to test because in May now has a major Windows update, the test was unsuccessful. I bought a USB 2.0 hub but without success and then I was in the 18xxx version even playing but these days I'm more relaxed and started to see some things and testing and etc. Anyway, just to let you know how I said I was going to test and couldn't. A hug.

Hello,

Unfortunately we can't help you, the previous statement of your support ticket remains the same and the topic is now closed, this is something related to your SIM Race DLX or PC hardware/driver/windows configuration and not our software.

The current version of our software is stable and hundred of thousands people are using our software with certainly the latest version (official stable not insider) of Windows 10 without any problem. We use the EXACT SAME windows API functions for all USB Devices supported by our software and there's no exception for your device. We strongly suggest to contact your hardware supplier to work this problem out.
