
Disable Fanatec native LED support in rFactor 2 or Le Mans Ultimate to use Ledsmaster:
For Le Mans Ultimate:
Quit LMU (IMPORTANT)
go to ..steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\Controller\Presets\ directory
edit with Notepad++ all Fanatec Controller or just yours:

on older version of LMU the game settings was available, seems that no longer the case

Open the game options and disable LED/DIGIT. That’s it!
For rFactor 2:
You must QUIT the game first
open your rFactor 2 profile in /Documents/rFactor 2 folder or for Steam version in your ../Steam/steamapps/rFactor 2 directory
open UserData/Player
and edit your current Fanatec profile to change:
Use Additional Hardware Features=”1” // Whether to use additional hardware features like steering wheel LED
Hardware 3Digit Display=”1” // If hardware has 3-digit display, 0=off, 1=gear, 2=speed
to
Use Additional Hardware Features=”0” // Whether to use additional hardware features like steering wheel LED
Hardware 3Digit Display=”0” // If hardware has 3-digit display, 0=off, 1=gear, 2=speed
IMPORTANT: Do the same thing in UserData/Controller
Attention, the rFactor 2 settings in latest version are inJSON format and to disable the native management of Fanatec LED you have to change the following tags in your /UserData/Player/Controller.JSON:
“Use Additional Hardware Features”:true,
to
“Use Additional Hardware Features”:false,
and
“Hardware 3Digit Display:1,
to
“Hardware 3Digit Display:0,
