VDASH-EMU is one of the most fastest virtual racing dash or “second screen”, if not the fastest available today.
LAG (or slowdown) is NOT NORMAL and you shouldn’t experience any LAG with VDASH-EMU even if you run 4 emulators simultaneously on your network LAN.
– common error: UDP PORT are not correctly configured. EACH VDASH-EMU MUST HAVE AN UNIQUE UDP Network Port, so please check the doc to run more than one EMU at the same time and setup the UDP Port correctly of all your VDASH-EMU.
– on the game side CPU is at around 100%: your graphics settings are to high for your PC or you most likely didn’t CAP the framerate (FPS) of the game which result in 100% of occupation CPU by the game and gives not enough CPU to run properly other apps. You MUST CAP your fps this should be among the first things to consider in sim-racing. We always recommend to CAP to 60fps first and then to increase this value progressively depending the power of your PC configuration. Check with your game documentation to see how to CAP the frame rate (FPS)
– then last thing to check, your network/router, your wireless signal is weak. When you ping your wifi router from the wireless station (PC or Android) you should have a response in less 20ms.
In short, you should NOT have any delay/LAG/slowdown with VDASH-EMU if everything is correctly installed and configured. it must be super-responsive even with overcharged page with hundreds of objects.
